Gary Chapman, Ph.D

Gary Chapman, Ph.D. (born 1938) is an American author, speaker, and marriage counselor. He is the host of a nationally syndicated radio program and a senior associate pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Chapman is best known for his The 5 Love Languages book series, which has become a global phenomenon, selling over 20 million copies. His work is based on decades of counseling experience, leading him to the simple yet profound conclusion that people express and receive love in five distinct ways.
