Robert Kiyosaki

Robert Toru Kiyosaki (born 1947) is an American businessman, investor, and author, best known for his Rich Dad Poor Dad series of personal finance books. Born in Hawaii, Kiyosaki credits his financial education to two father figures: his "Poor Dad" (his highly educated but financially struggling biological father) and his "Rich Dad" (his best friend's father, a successful entrepreneur who dropped out of school). Kiyosaki served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a helicopter gunship pilot during the Vietnam War before starting his business career. His work challenges conventional wisdom about money, advocating for financial literacy, real estate investing, and entrepreneurship as the primary paths to wealth.
