Meik Wiking

Meik Wiking (born 1978) is a Danish author and the CEO of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen. His work focuses on understanding the factors that contribute to human happiness and well-being. Wiking has spent years researching the Danish concept of Hygge (pronounced 'hoo-gah'), which he defines as a key ingredient in why Denmark consistently ranks as one of the happiest nations in the world. His book, The Little Book of Hygge, is an international bestseller that introduced this unique cultural concept to a global audience.
